This is a quote I live by every day. I generally take all the chances I get, even the ones that seem dangerous, or dramatic. In my opinion, I really have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. My family is unsupportive, I never learned how to drive so I can't really work without a form of public transportation, but I was blessed with the god given talent of creativity and a beutiful mind. I suffer from Bipolar Disorder type 1, but I always try to put my best foot forward and keep my head held high with a possitive outlook on life.

It has been hard, I will not lie. The road has been bumpy, and I know I will have a lot of ups and downs still to make it through in life. I am only 22, and could write several books containing the chapters of my life. Art is my job, and it is true what they say... you know, about starving artists. Though, if not for my art there would have been lots of times I would have gone without a lot of things. Anyway, I'm rambling at this point.

By entering this contest, I have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain. The ability to pay for several plane tickets to see the only person who I know will always have my back. I have yet to win a contest, though I do try. I hope one day I can win, and be so proud of myself. It would give me the ability to tell my family and all the nonbelievers that my talent isn't a waste. That I can and will make something of myself. Thank you deviantART for this wonderful oportunity to share my talent with the world.
